Build a seamless content strategy

I hope you’ve had some time to work through the first two units of Walk the Talk available on APEX Insights. Here, we follow on from Your Brand is Critical and Creating a Seamless Client Journey.

Let’s unpack this further and look at how to build a seamless content strategy for your clients, and how this will benefit your business.

We’ll focus on the digital touch points so you can be confident that even when you’re asleep, on holidays or are away from your office potential and existing clients can still find you at a time that suits them.

This is key to understanding why creating, planning and implementing a content strategy is so important. The days of 9am – 5pm business hours and customers calling a company for initial information have long since passed. We know that consumers are conducting more research online before contacting a business, so it’s crucial that they can find you online via your website, blog posts, LinkedIn activity, newsletters and so on. By ensuring you’re online across multiple formats means all the information is available easily and readily whenever it suits the reader, reducing the risk of them finding someone else because you weren’t there!

Never fear, we’ve laid out all the steps for you in the handy workbook and have another short video to guide you on the journey.

There are four steps to follow:

  • Plan – Remember, failing to plan is planning to fail. 
  • Leverage and create – You don’t have to start from scratch every time, leverage what you already have
  • Distribute – How can you get your content out there?  
  • Analyse – Look at what works, what doesn’t and fine tune for future content releases
